To prepare ... take your time ...
Get your journal ready before you begin, or have to hand some paper with writing and drawing materials ...
(It is good to spend some time after following the imagery just noting down or drawing any images, pictures, words or thoughts that came to you. They might seem obvious at the time, but soon get dispersed .... )
Take some time to clear a space in your favorite room, or somewhere outside in nature.... to make a 'nest' for yourself.
(It is important that you are not distracted or interrupted, so take care of that first by turning off the ringer on your phone, and your mobile, and switching off all extraneous electronic gadgets that impose their vibrations on your energy field.)
Let your friends, partners, lovers, workmates, or others know, if need be, that you'll be 'incommunicado' for a little while ...
Settle down, get comfortable, either sitting or lying down, and begin to relax more deeply ... orient to 'The Dreaming' ...
Important 'small print':
Don't listen while doing anything else, at all!
Give it your full attention. You could put yourself at risk if you try and do this process while driving, or doing any other activity which requires your focus. Also, if you are unwell, very stressed, emotionally upset or mentally turbulent, wait until you feel more steady before listening. Prepare and take your time.
